I am all for a redesign of the UI and a fresh new looks, but what really gets me is how many steps i have to take to turn my Bluetooth on and off.

Ease of use > Glossy Icons -- For me.

there needs to be an other option, or let us pick multiple options. 2 are very i portent to me: openness, and ease of access. but off its more open, jail breaking is easier, therefore easier access is there. easier :)

They really need to make the interface easier to customize and certain classes on the backend easier to modify (e.g., the font for UINavigationController).

The default apps are getting murdered in the app store through neglect, and largely by non-Apple, cross platform (or easily portable) alternatives.

Once that happens, Apple have a platform that looks quite like Android but slightly worse as the sandboxing stops those apps behaving correctly.

So they either need to make the native apps better in a way that I do not think they are set up (or want) to actually do, and try to be all things to all people in a fragmenting marketplace, or they need to make third party apps better on iOS by defaulting and letting them have more background access and talk to each other.

At least be able to hide most of the stock apps. I'm not sure deleting them is the right way to go, because then they would need a way to restore them. And of course the Settings ap should not be able to be hidden of course. And there are probably a few others that should not be able to be hidden.

Oh and Newstand should be able to be disabled as a restriction.

Stocks should be an optional install from the appstore

Newsstand should be an optional install from the appstore or at least
combined with iBooks into 1 app.

Voice memos should be an optional install from the appstore or combined with notes.

Videos, itunes, podcasts and iRadio (when announced) should all be contained in 1 media type app.

They should add a flashlight toggle into the camera app.

1. You can quickly get to the camera from the lock screen
2. I already set the LED light on from the camera in video mode to use as a flashlight.

the current lock screen, notes app, calculator, music app etc. should go
the message app is the only thing that deserves to stay.

It will be REALLY awkward (and a wrong move) if Apple doesnt change a lot in the next iteration of iOS.
I'm hoping for panorama wallpapers and ofcourse, widgets :)

A redesign of the ui might be cool, but I'm very used to the way it works and can't imagine any improvements.
