I wasn't planning on getting an Apple CD because they're too expensive. Alas, a 20" ACD has jumped in my lap for $450. This means though that I'd have to get a new video card as mine doesn't have DVI. Do you all think this is worth it?

Personally, no. I got the Dell 20 inch for $380 some time ago. I made the right choice. I wish the Dell was aluminum instead of black plastic. On the other hand, the Apple cannot compete with the Dell's input options (VGA, DVI, S-Video, Composite RCA). Even if they were the same price, I'd still go for the Dell.

If it is an aluminum one, yes.
If it is an "old style," meh, kind of.

It is the aluminum new style. It's in great shape too. Girl is getting a 30" so she's offing the 20".

I'd buy it in a heartbeat, then.

Yeah, I don't know how many inputs I need anyway. I mean, how many of those inputs do you think the Dell users actually use? Probably one, maybe two. It's only my computer monitor. It's not my TV.

Nice price. The ACD is definately a beautiful display. I'm sure you would be happy with it.
