OS X Calendar Question

I would like to move all the events from one Calendar to another within the OS X Calendar app. And just to clarify, I'm talking about the 'subcalendars' that can be used to distinguish events (the ones along the left sidebar), not a whole separate account or anything.

Is there any way to do this without selecting each event by hand?

Select the calendar and from the File menu do an "Export->Export..." This will create a file ending .ics. Click on this file and you can select the calendar you want to import all the events into.
