i ran a scan with clamxav on my mac and got a red flag from the air video streaming app,i have the latest air video beta

the infection name listed is

java.exploit.CVE._2013_1491

is this safe to keep? i use air video a lot to stream to my apple tv

I too used ClamXav and found the infectious file "Java.Exploit.CVE_2013_1491" associated with the Air Video Sever app.

After a brief search I found a similar malware file "Exploit:Java/CVE-2013-0431" posted by Microsoft, which I assume is an issue for only non-Macs, though I have not confirmed this.

I will contact the developer for AVS to see if they can provide any input. I do plan on removing the application but will that suffice? Does anyone know what other actions might be required...?
