I'm looking to buy a headrest mount for my 4th gen iPad and I need a little help in picking one. It would be for my oldest daughter he would've using it to play fast pace action games like MC4 and she has a little seeing the screen from far away, so were trying to get her one that extends as close to her as possible. I found this on eBay

http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?index=0&sbk=1&nav=SEARCH&itemId=160964235345

(sorry about the mobile URL, but I'm typing on my iPhone.) it extends 17 inches, but it ships from Hong Kong and am pretty sure for the price it's going to be very poorly built and flimsy. I also found these two

http://toucoul.com/products/coulvue-new-ipad

http://www.thejoyfactory.com/product/MMA107

Both of those looks like there better build quality and more sturdy, but they both only extend 10 inches, which I dont think is long enough for her to sit back and grip it. Are there any other headrest mounts out there that extend about 15 to 20 inches or even longer out and are sturdy and not cheaply made? Also any other suggestions or alternatives to achieve the same goal?

I mean no disrespect but wouldn't your daughter be better off with glasses?

Lol good question, I probably didn't word my post right but yeah she wears glasses (very thick prescription). She just complains that for certain games she plays with the UI being pretty small, she has trouble reading the text and hitting the buttons from far away. (She has to sit pretty close to the computer monitor when she is playing MMO's) :)

I don't know how totally stupid this may be (and please forgive me if it is), but I'm wondering if this could be shaped so that your daughter can either use it on a table, or her lap...or (here comes the stupid part) bend it so the iPad can be hung around her neck or shoulders.

Also, you might check sites with equipment for the visually impaired for some ideas.

I hope all goes well for your daughter...:D

Haven't seen such a headrest mount, but I bought one specific ipad mount, you can attach or detach your ipad off the headrest within a case, so you girl can play game on lap, and when she is tired, she can attach the ipad back with just a little hard strengh, very convenient.
