Ok, someone clue me in. I just got my G3, 800Mhz ibook back from apple for the second logic board failure in four months. It displayed every symptom of logic board failure, just like it did the firt time.

However, this time I got a note back with my ibook stating that my 3rd party ram had caused the problem. Is this possible? I have no indication of whether they actually replaced the LB or if they just pulled the ram and sent it back to me.

Can anyone exlpain to me HOW the ram might have caused a failure that EXACTLY mimiced a logic board failure?
