Will I loose or gain in performance? I currently have a 2011 Mac Mini (2.7GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i7, 8GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM, AMD Radeon HD 6630M).
Is it worth upgrading to Mountain Lion? I use applications like Photoshop CS6, Lightroom 4 and often work on really big files, usually between 60MB and 1.2GB with many many layers. Some people seemed to say that there was a performance increase since upgrading, others said there was a loss but all this information dates back to 2012 and I couldn't find any recent information. I'm not sure what to think?
