I am looking at upgrading my 2011 MBA 13" to the new current one that just came out.

Mine:
13"
1.8 i7
4 GB ram
256 GB HDD
10.8.4
1.5 years let on Applecare

What would it be worth if I sold it?

Looking at getting new MBA 13" maxed out, i7, 8 GB, 512 HDD.

I need more memory and space....I guess CPU is kinda a wash.

What are your thoughts?

I'm about to sell mine this weekend since I have a new model ordered and on it's way to me by (hopefully) tomorrow. I have a 2012 air with 8 gb ram, 256 mem and 2 more years apple care - original box and like new. I'm going to ask for 1200 to 1300 (remember the applecare and 256 mem).

Do you think that I am asking too much here?

I just sold my MBA 13" 2011 base model (i5 1.7ghz, 4gb ram, 128gb SSD) for $775. Superb condition, no warranty remaining, about 221 battery cycles. Reformatted OSX Mountain Lion. Was honest about laptop's condition and gave buyer sufficient time to test out the Air. I think I'm satisfied with the amount I got?
