So I guess by now we all know that A. iOS 7 is still quite a work in progress and B. for the most part drop shadows have been eliminated from the OS....so heres a strange one, not sure if I like it or not but I opened phone.app to find this:

I'm sure the design team is testing drop shadows on certain elements like the status bar text to allow better visual clarity in certain situations. maybe thats where this "glitch" stems from. I closed out the app from the multi-tasker and re-opened to find it back to normal with no drop shadow on the status bar text.
