Huge camera bug!!

If you use the camera app from the lockscreen the app continues to run aggressively in the background with GPS on. Battery drain is massive!
I've duplicated this over and over. Bug submitted to apple.

Just a word of warning.

The downside to this bug well plus the additional battery drain is the camera lens continues to focus and click away like mad too.

I just tried this, and after about ten seconds the purple location icon in Privacy settings has gone grey - just as Passbook has. (Passbook asks for location on unlock by default.)

How was this verified?

My phone set on my desk for 10 minutes with the icon on the status bar, I went to location settings and saw that camera had the purple icon next too it. when I power cycled my phone it went away and weather was the only one with a purple icon, and there was no longer an icon on my status bar.
