I have MacBook with 10.6.8 and external hard drive with 10.7.

I tried to boot from 10.7 external hard drive but during verbose boot fsck_hfs say "Invalid sibling link ... the volume could not be repaired ... file system was modified ... removed 3 orphaned / unlinked files and 4 directories". After this it stops boot process and don't do a thing.

I want to boot from it and then make (bootable) disk image using SuperDuper!. I cannot fix it from 10.6.8 because Disk Utility says that its incompatible format.

Is there any way to fix that 10.7 drive or make (bootable) backup of all files in it? I currently have only 10.6.8 Mac.

Thanks
