iPod 5G iPod Compatability with Altec Lansing speakers?

I would call the apple store and ask. But if memory serves me correctly, when I was in there the other day I saw them using the 5g ipod in the IM3C. Also, I believe if you look at the ilounge.com pictures comparing the ipods you'll notice that they are about the same width. I would assume yes, but just call an apple store to double check. And mine works in my inMotion (the first one).
