Anyone know what speed the parallel ATA connector that the superdrive is on runs at? Is it 133,100,66 or 33?

Shouldn't have changed if you have and older machine or a PCI-X machine (the K2 is the same in most all of them) ...

Edit: the iMac G5 is ATA133 with their Shasta Southbridge.

Yanked out the superdrive and put it in a firewire case and put 2 x 250gb pata drives in that bay area and hooked them up master slave on a new pata cable. Works great.

Drives keep failing, can't read or write properly to them. I guess you can't do this. DAMN!
