Hi... I'm not too sure if anyone know's this or not, but I have an old airport card in my current machine (not airport extreme) and I'm wondering if it'll work in the new powermacs?

No- as I recall it has a different interface- same antenna connection.

Nope, physically incompatible connections. However you should be able to sell it readily for $80 + because they are not available new any more.

Nope, sorry. But I'd happily trade you for the proper one. :-p (I have an old iMac that needs an AirPort card, and the original ones are hard to come by. On the other hand, I can find AirPort Extreme cards cheaply around here.)

Thanks for your help guys. That sucks that I can't use my old card. I guess I'll trade it in with my computer when I pick up my new one. Hopefully they'll give me a few extra bucks for it.

If you trade it in with the computer, they'll give you about 1/10th what you can get on eBay for it. Rip it out an sell it to one of us, if you don't want to profit.
