Lightsaber Burn In Text

Could anyone help me come up with a text effect that makes the text look like it was burn into the wall using a lightsaber. While it was still hot too, give it the orange fire look. I tried messing with bevels and glows but still can't get it to look good.

Looks really good! Probably can't really do it better than that.

It's hard to get a static effect of burning or embers without some sort of animation like you could get from a GIF file. The example posted looks pretty good IMO.

I know you're looking for a real answer though, that I can't help you with.

Wouldn't it be easier to tag a wall with a light saber and take a photo?

It is just pronounced Icon. I was making a website for a friend's JKA clan. He said he wanted me to use those characters because it looked better.

I honestly don't remember what I did to get that effect. I could probably back track and figure it out, although I used Eye Candy to get some of the bevel I think.

I think it's "eesoonyuh" but I'm not certain :rolleyes:
