Comment: Just heard this song today and I love it. It's not in English but it's got a good sound. The album is pretty cheap and it has several versions including an English version.

Yeah, I heard that in summer 2004 when I was in Germany. It was a pretty hot song there. I think there are two versions: one by a woman and one by a Ukranian boy band.

Oh, please. Don't tell me you haven't heard of the Numa Numa video that comes with this. It's only been all over the internet for months now.

The lyrics don't seem to make that much sense to me. I'm assuming that they were written that way.

I haven't listened to the DJ Ross Extended Mix, but I own Dragostea Din Tei, Ma Ya Hi (Dragostea Din Tei) [Original Mix], and Ma Ya Hi (Dragostea Din Tei) [Valentin Club Mix].
I really like the song, as well as the actual music video. The one by Gary was the original one that got me turned on to the song in April, but I still enjoy the song today. There's something really great about it that I just love (same for the music video, even if it's dorky).

Actually I did see that video a long time ago but I didn't pay much attention to the song until I heard the song alone on my sister computer.

I loved the Japanese phonetization of it:
http://www.i-am-bored.com/bored_link.cfm?link_id=8843
The fun begins when the song begins:
"Arrow" is of course "Hello". I saw the kanji for "Rice" + the letter for "sa" for the word sounding like "raisa". Streetfighter is in here too, Dhalsim is holding a sign reading "Keep" when the Romanian words are: chipu taui si (pronounced, roughly, Keep Dhalsim). Ronald McDonald's finger ("yubi" in Japanese) is used followed by a picture of a llama (yubilama). Even if you don't read Japanese, you'll be able to pick up Dhalsim, Beef, Kiss, Arrow, and a few other lines.
edit: wow wikipedia expands my brain: I didn't know the cat character was a well-known ascii character in Shift-JIS.

I just have to say, though I am ashamed of it, I bought this song because of the original Numa Numa video. This has since become a staple at dance partys.

Here at work (Circuit City) one of our music video samplers has the video for this song. Always brings many, many laughs to all employees and customers. Just when you think something couldn't get any stranger, it does. I hope that the video does NOT reflect upon you eastern Europeans! :p
