Joe Strummer, Lead singer of the seminal punk rock band "The Clash" was found dead in Southwest England last night. it appears to be a heart attack, in the article <a http://people.aol.com/people/news/now/0,10958,402056,00.html Here at People Magazine

Another Article is

My heart (and i hope yours too) goes out to the family of Joe Strummer.

This just further confirms the fact that "Punk Rock is not dead, it just sucks now'

RIP Joe.

Truly sad when someone passes so early in their life. The Clash was a great group, still listen to a couple of their songs now and again - Rock the Casbah is always good.

I just cant help but wonder what the band in heven sounds like now.

Truly sad. Joe Strummer wasn't just a former punk rocker. Has anyone heard Joe Strummer and the Mescalleros? Their second CD was a great one. As somebody who never gets too bothered by the passing of celebrities, this time it does bother me, and I'm sorry we won't get to hear anymore new music from him.

Maybe Joe Strummer was just upset that American Pilots are going to use "Rock the Casbah" when they start in Iraq again. J/k

I love Joe Strummer and the Mescellaros...
