iPod Shuffle problem

I have a ipod shuffle, and yesterday i tryd a few windows based, file manager tools. And now, my shuffle dosent working. I cant update or restore it, because, i start it and í get this message: Firmware update failure. Disk Write error. Please somebody help me!!!! Thx

Is it possible to try it on a Mac to see if that version of the iPod Software Updater will work?

Sounds like you bricked your iPod by using unsupported/hacked firmware. Probably should have been safer and now you've got a dead iPod.
