christmas is on the 25th and kwanzaa is the following day...and next week is new year's eve followed by new year's day
who thinks one of the many terrorist organizations will try and make a statement somewhere in the world?

Hadn't really thought about it till you mentioned it. It didn't really dampen the festivities last year so I'm thinking it won't be that much of an issue this year.
Personally I'm not any more worried than I am at any one time. Its always a possibility, especially since I work in DC.

My greater fear is when the attack of Iraq begins.
Not as much fear now since they let the anniversary of 9/11 pass.

Actually, I was standing on my building watching the Pentagon burn on 9/11, that was pretty bad. The sniper affected my wife more than me, I wasn't too worried since we were living in areas that really weren't going to be easy for him to escape due to traffic. It did impact our daily lives a bit though.
