Again with my library dilemma. (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=160200)
It looks like a laptop would be easier to bring back and forth and at least the red tape is a lot less sticky with a laptop.
So, here's the deal, give me your best offers for a used iBook or PowerBook. To be reasonable, Apple is selling a refurbished iBook 1.2 GHz G4 for $699 which means if all I see are crappy machines for outrageous prices, call yourself greedy. :p My original plan was to spend only $300, but I am quite flexible at the moment. I'm sitting on $800 right now, so if I see reason to deal with you, I will.
Honestly, the machine is supposed to be for a good cause. I'm trying to have a decent Mac that middle schoolers can use to create a yearbook, edit photos, edit movies, and compose music. Can anyone spare a decent machine?
