How do you run multiple instances in OS X? Like I'm using the Microsoft Remote Desktop Client and I want to connect to multiple machines at the same time, but I can't. It only opens once. In Windows XP, I can open multiple terminal sessions and multiple notepad windows at the same time.

Is there some key combination + mouse click to start a new instance?

Copy the program multiple times and then launch each of those separately. This is one of my annoyances with OS X as well.

Command-N. This won't work with RDC though, so you'll either need to make a copy of the app, or launch multiple instances from Terminal.

I am looking for a way to do this. Has anyone figured it out since 5 years ago? Command N doesn't seem to work

save

Just save the RDC as an individual file. Then make a folder of those, and run each one. It works fine for me.
