Hi all. Very desperate for help here. I have set up my ML servers with our college which is predominantly a PC environment. As it a golden triangle setup, all users authenticate through the AD and preferences are managed by the OD. This works successfully and all users can log in fine.

What I now need to sort out is each user that logs into a Mac to have their own storage folder on an AFP share that mounts to the desktop. There are thousands of students, so to create these folders manually would not be ideal.

I have a separate share that mounts for students to staff. This mounts fine at login. What I want is a folder for that user to be automatically created at login, and permissions to be set.

I have been fiddling with scripts etc but I fail to get anything to really work.

Has anyone had this same idea and managed to get it to work?

I am happy to give more detail if needed. Thanks in advance.
