I'm hoping to upgrade the HD in my new iMac to a better one, does anyone have the service manual for it?
Also what is the name of the screwdriver that opens the special 6-pin screws in the bottom?
Any help would be great!

I've not seen a service manual. The screws will be Torx of some size.

The iMac G5-Aug 2004's file name might be imacg5_20.pdf/imacg5_17.pf
ALS models-not sure
iSight-uses a putty knife like tool, acccording to Macintouch.com
To get the official Apple service manuals:
-you need to have a GSX account with Apple (i.e. you need to be a AASP)
-go to gsx.apple.com
-log on there with your Apple ID and then, GSX account number.
Notes:
-To access the hard drive, the display bezel is removed first, and then the film covering the insides of the iMac.
