The newest Macbook Air ,I want to install a Windows7 x86 version, for although x64 can use all the 4 GB RAM, but I don't think it is necessary , 3.2 GB is enough for daily use, if we want to use more ,the 1.3 GHz CPU will not allowed....And the x64 does badly in compatibility, that is the most serious reason for me to choose a x86 version.

But the bootcamp doesn't support it........................................

Is there any solutions can help ?

You can install x86 version of windows, but Apple doesnt have any drivers for it.

I ran into this issue before. I had to go out and get the 64 bit version. I dont think there is another way around it :[

I doubt it I don't think apple wires 32bit drivers for all of their computers, especially the newer ones they have gone strictly 64bit

Bootcamp supports x86 32 bit Windows 7. I'm running it fine.

If you look at the machine-specific section of this article, you'll see that the 2013 Air does not support 32 bit Windows at all. You're unlikely to be able to make this work.

X64 Windows 7 and 8 have a lot fewer compatibility issues than older versions of Windows. What are you using that won't work with x64?

Ahhh, thats right I had Window 7 x86 on my 2012 MBA, and I converted it into a VM and brought it over to my 2013 MBA with Parallels. That explains that.

What I did install from scratch on my MBA 2013 in bootcamp was Windows 7 x64.

Thanks for pointing that out! Sorry for the confusion.
