It's a shame nobody addresses coming out with more real instrument packages. It's loops this and loops that, doing dizzy electro crap, which is pretty much what 99% of all the loop packages that flood the market do, all they do, in some cases not even that well.
Not everyone wants to be a poor-man's BT. Some of us want to compose, or compose along to, using hardware like ProTools MBox, real or well done synthesized version of strings, horns, orchestra pieces. Even straight up rock isn't covered that well with simplistic yet creative time signature bass or rhythm guitar. Admittedly at least I luck out as I can play both of them and am a professional drummer, owning two kits (Yamaha DTX and an acoustic Rogers kit). If I need any of those instruments I can record them myself, though it'd be nice to find a loop or real instrument as creative as me to jam or get creative with. And before one thinks I have a big ego, I'm not THAT creative, but the rare, almost non-existent options for anything that isn't cheese rave loops, which are cranked out raw sewage, which are pretty much what all these craptastic packages address, don't address real musicians of any calibre. There's nothing to fill in the gaps which is not only surprising that it's not addressed, it's annoying.
