how do you delete previous safari searches?

Hi
I'm trying to delete all my previous searches on safari bit i am not sure how to. please could someone tell me if they know?

If you mean the Google bar searches, just click on the magnifying glass icon in the bar and select 'Clear Recent Searches'.

Easy as that and twice as simple. 😉
 
lol sorry about the 2 threads i pressed enter and didnt think it would post that time.
 
Also, if you want to avoid the searches coming up in future for any particular reason (and history too), if you are on Tiger you can use the Private Browsing feature (turn on in Safari menu). Searches won't be added to the list once you select this.
