Another excuse for poor parenting practices. My 11-yr-old gets online and IM, but I'm just about over her shoulder all the time. I plan on keeping it that way.

If we're not careful, the iPod may become a political whipping post for all that's bad in the world.

I wonder if it was hard for them to write that without laughing. C|NET loves them some Apple FUD.

backpacks: the next porn danger.

backpacks have always been known for carrying innocent school things such as papers, books, and pencils, but backpacks now have the danger of having pornographic magazines in them. they should not be bought, as it is possible for people to use them for such horrid purposes.

Why stop at backpacks? Eyes are used to see porn, if we remove them no one will be able to watch anything questionable at all.

Even without eyes one can still imagine his own fantasy pron. The only solution is to remove the brain.

My 11-yr-old gets online and IM, but I'm just about over her shoulder all the time.My uncle has my cousin's (she's just turned 12) internet usage down to the period she types. Okay, maybe not that strict-- but my emails to her were rejected until I phone him and asked why... :p I got placed on his list for safe email senders. I though porn was for educational purposes Ah... that would explain why it seems like many males (won't call them men) don't seem to know much about the female anatomy or female sexuality.

The only inevitable outcome I can see to stop the porn menace, is to end all life on Earth as we know it.

Can't say that I have had any complaints from women regarding such matters. ;) I used to do a 45min foot massage with oil when I was single and flatting (sharing a house with others), now I just do back rubs and stuff;)

That has been attempted, and apparently successfully, by a number of religious and political groups...

Not to mention Microsoft engineers, Dell buyers, and consumers of Windows 95, 98, ME, XP, etc...
