I know there's plenty of wifi-calling apps out there but am a bit unsure if any of them do this particular thing I need it to.

There's poor cell phone reception in my office but strong wifi signal. I'm wondering if there's an app that allows phone calls or texts to a mobile number to go through to a phone without signal, but connected to wifi. No app-to-app stuff, only receiving calls/texts when contacted via cell phone number.

Any help is appreciated!

I think you can do this with a Google Voice number and Talkatone.

If you want your cellphone calls forwarded to Talkatone you have to:

  1. Set up a new Google Voice number and a telephone (not your cellphone) to forward GV calls to (you can turn this forwarding off later).
  2. Configure Talkatone to receive calls from your GV number.
  3. Forward your cellphone to the GV number when desired.
