I was in another world in '91. New wife, new baby, new job, etc. I was totally oblivious to some of the best rock in history - glad it hangs around :p I just discovered Temple of the Dog (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?selectedItemId=94577&playListId=94600&s=143441) tonight. I can't believe I didn't know about this! Chris Cornell with members of both (future) Pearl Jam and Soundgarden including Eddie Vedder.

Rock history here!

Peach was around then too, and Tool was just forming in L.A.

it was a good time for rock/grunge

well yeah, smashing pumpkins and dream theater too in that era, things were good for Rock in the early ninties, but it died out at the end of the decade, i think we are going through a revival of sorts now though, there are some very good bands out there right now

Definitely a fan of Temple of the Dog...check out Mother Love Bone while you're at it. That is who they got together in the first place to honor after all...

He was a Freddy Mercury fan  I'm going to have to give a listen to their stuff too.

You should take a listen to Alice in Chains quite a few good ones around that time. They actually did a song with Cornell on Sap, I think it's call Right Turn. Anyways good band, minus Layne Staley's drug problem

It's crazy how Staley sat dead in an apartment for weeks before anyone noticed...:(
