Single Shell User Terminated ...Restart after the apple logo at startup, i know there a error to the Volume, i couldn't repair it. Is there any chance i can backup my files?? HELP!!!

Any chance of hooking this Mac to another Mac via FireWire?

That way you can boot this Mac in Target Disk Mode (start with < T > pressed, until you get a blue screen and yellow FireWire logo), and access this volume via FireWire just like an external FW HD.

teh first thing i tried, i didnt see the volume on my computer.

I'm not sure about the powerbooks, if this is one that will boot to 9, you can start from an os 9 cd and see your files. If that won't work, Target mode is the only other way I know.
