Quick question about Bluetooth headsets

Hi,

I'd like to replace my default EarPods for some BT headset, but first I need to know if a BT headset would allow me to silent a call (as addition to the "answer" and "decline" options), i.e. to do from a remote device the same thing that the iPhone does when I press the volume button during an incoming call.

I ask this because I was told by MetaWatch support that it's "impossible" to silent a call from a remote device via BT. If that's not possible with a BT headset, sincerely I'd stay with my earbuds.
