Converting Atari ".IMG" image files

I'm looking for a quick and simple converter which takes an Atari .IMG (Ximage) file and converts it into a more common format such as PNG or GIF.

I know a few viewers (Graphic convert and XNview as far as I remember) can handle this format, but I was hoping for something simpler (drag & drop).

GraphicConverter is much more than just a "viewer." It is a baby Photoshop that does what you need. To limit it to drag & drop, you may develop an Automator Action or compiled AppleScript that exports either .png or .gif.
