wifi router shared USB drive OSX 10.8 asus RT-AC66

32GB SanDisk Cruzer is in the USB of the router.

most of the time it works and it's visible and accessible in finder, but sometime it disappears.
and later (hours) spontaneously reappears.

i had this with linksys EA3500 and now with the latest asus RT-AC66

is that OSX 10.8 networking issue ?
