I don't think Rogers is teamed up with Puretracks for providing access to "legal music", so I don't know why corrupt Rogers would be doing this, they should be happy that their customers are downloading LEGAL tracks and PAYING for them instead of downloading off of p2p (which could get them in legal problems). but it's Rogers, what you expect?
but rogers IS teamed up with yahoo.. maybe they want Rogers customers just to use the yahoo service?

Ugh! More bad Apple press. To Apple's credit they do address a problem if you buy an album to download and something happens. A couple people I know have gone to download and in once case there was a power outage halfway through, in another case it was a PC luser who, for whatever (but typical and not surprising, it's a peecee) reason, his machine crashed. In both cases once they contacted Apple, Apple will rectify the situation, albeit sometimes slowly. So hopefully these people aren't just grousing about it and are simply asking Apple for assistance.
As far as Rogers go maybe Apple could look into them, even covertly, but using a machine on their network in Canada checking packet stream data on a file from both ends to see if there's something fishy going on with this ISP, not on the up and up.

This hasn't been happening only to Rogers subscribers, much less only Canadians. It's an Apple problem.

Yesterday I tried to buy 2 albums, a Pixar movie, and 2 Johnny Cash songs that I've wanted to hear. I clicked the button and got an error. I thought it might be some server issue, so I came back later and tried again. Nope - no sale. Music was still in my queue to be bought.
Until I checked my Paypal account and discovered that Apple had charged me three times for music that I haven't received - at the price of $34 a hit, I'm now looking at a $106 charge for music I haven't gotten.
I'm hoping that they'll reimburse me, but already Paypal is dipping into my bank account (I should be fine - I've got the money to cover it, but it's still annoying).
Update: I've started to see refunds through Paypal, so it looks like they're working on it.

Definitely an Apple problem. I sent an email to Apple support about an album and they said an engineer was working on this general issue and not to try again until 11/28.

I'm able to download full albums and podcasts, the only thing that stops it is when the router goes wacky, and on my parents ISP I'm able to download full albums as well, so it's not a Canada-wide Apple problem
