Ok, so in my dock, I had a folder (NOT the downloads folder) that had some pics that I was going to sort later. But then, I accidentally removed it from my dock and I can't seem to find it. it's not in the Trash, I tried to look through a backup that I made last night but still couldn't find it. Any thoughts on how/where to find it???

If you only removed the link to the folder from the dock, then search for the folder in the Finder or using spotlight (command+space bar and type the folder name). Once you find it, simply drag the folder from the Finder window to the Dock.

I just tried both, and it didn't come up in a search. Anything else that I can do?

Where you got those photos? From a camera? Email download?
Could they be in the Trash?
User/Pictures?
Search for the file extension .jpg .jpeg .raw whatever was it...
