Sharing Pref. auto reset

Does anyone know how to stop the "Share internet connection with network" preff in Sharing to stop turning off? Everytime i logout or restart it turns sharing the internet with the network off, so then stupid XP on my dad's comp get all messed up and I have to restart it.

After you have the settings the way you want them, try locking the prefrences pane in System Prefrences. That might do it.
