a bitch is a bitch, so if I'm poor or rich, I talk in the exact same pitch. Now the title bitch don't apply to all women, but all women have a little bitch in em. It's like a disease that plauges their character, taken the women of America. It starts with the letter B, it makes a girl like that think she better than me. See some just clown, and some just share it, but yo, if the shoe fits wear it.

I can't pick one line, but this is my favorite verse:

I used to get feels on a b*tch
Now I throw shields on the d*ck
To stop me from that HIV *****
And n*gg*z know they soft like a Twinkie filling
Playin the villian
Prepare for this rap killin
Biggie Smalls is the illest
Your style is played out, like Arnold wondered
"What you talkin bout Willis?"
The thrill is gone, the black Frank White
is here to excite and
throw d*ck to d*k*s
B*tches I like em brainless
Guns I like em stainless steel
I want the ********** Fortune like the Wheel
I squeeze gats till my clips is empty
Don't tempt me [T-H-O-D

...

Kurtis Blow: Yo, my home boys Run DMC

Run DMC: A young girl seemed to be gaining weight
Her parents all thought it was the food she ate
Their attitudes were all la-de-da-de
But little did they know there's a baby in the body
She tried to hide it,but they'll soon know
Because sooner or later that baby's got to show
Can her daddy just accept it as a fact
That it wasn't the meals and it wasn't the snack
Then there's another girl, her name is Vicki
The girl is fine, but sho'nuff tricky
Vicki's fine,,but then she's not very kind
She'll lay you down and then she'll rob you blind
You wake up in the morning and you're feelin' blue
Because Vicki is gone and your money is too
She's more sinister than Peter Lorre
And this is just two of 8 million stories

...

Actually the whole track kicks ass but that is my favourite bit!

It's not a rap track really, but it's got some of the cleverest rhythmical trickery I've heard.

One Week by Bare Naked Ladies

It's been one week since you looked at me
Cocked your head to the side and said "I'm angry"
Five days since you laughed at me saying
"Get that together come back and see me"
Three days since the living room
I realized it's all my fault, but couldn't tell you
Yesterday you'd forgiven me
but it'll still be two days till I say I'm sorry

Hold it now and watch the hoodwink
As I make you stop, think
You'll think you're looking at Aquaman
I summon fish to the dish, although I like the Chalet Swiss
I like the sushi
'cause it's never touched a frying pan
Hot like wasabe when I bust rhymes
Big like LeAnn Rimes
Because I'm all about value
Bert Kaempfert's got the mad hits
You try to match wits, you try to hold me but I bust through
Gonna make a break and take a fake
I'd like a stinkin achin shake
I like vanilla, it's the finest of the flavours
Gotta see the show, cause then you'll know
The vertigo is gonna grow
Cause it's so dangerous,
you'll have to sign a waiver

How can I help it if I think you're funny when you're mad
Trying hard not to smile though I feel bad
I'm the kind of guy who laughs at a funeral
Can't understand what I mean?
Well, you soon will
I have a tendency to wear my mind on my sleeve
I have a history of taking off my shirt

It's been one week since you looked at me
Threw your arms in the air
and said "You're crazy"
Five days since you tackled me
I've still got the rug burns on both my knees
It's been three days since the afternoon
You realized it's not my fault
not a moment too soon
Yesterday you'd forgiven me
And now I sit back and wait til you say you're sorry

Chickity China the Chinese chicken
You have a drumstick and your brain stops tickin'
Watchin' X-Files with no lights on
We're dans la maison
I hope the Smoking Man's in this one
Like Harrison Ford I'm getting frantic
Like Sting I'm tantric
Like Snickers, guaranteed to satisfy

Like Kurasawa I make mad films
Okay, I don't make films
But if I did they'd have a Samurai
Gonna get a set a' better clubs
Gonna find the kind with tiny nubs
Just so my irons aren't always flying off the back-swing
Gotta get in tune with Sailor Moon
'Cause the cartoon has got the boom anime babes
That make me think the wrong thing

How can I help it if I think you're funny when you're mad
Tryin' hard not to smile though I feel bad
I'm the kind of guy who laughs at a funeral
Can't understand what I mean?
Well, you soon will
I have a tendency to wear my mind on my sleeve
I have a history of losing my shirt

It's been one week since you looked at me
Dropped your arms to your sides
and said "I'm sorry"
Five days since I laughed at you and said
"You just did just what I thought you were gonna do"
Three days since the living room
We realized we're both to blame,
but what could we do?
Yesterday you just smiled at me
Cause it'll still be two days till we say we're sorry

It'll still be two days till we say we're sorry
It'll still be two days till we say we're sorry

Hey fella, I bet you're still livin' in your parents' cellar
Downloadin' pictures of Sarah Michelle Gellar
And postin' "Me too!" like some brain-dead AOL-er
I should do the world a favor and cap you like Old Yeller
You're just about as useless as jpegs to Hellen Keller

Pop Will Eat Itself's scathing attack on the Monarchy. :D

Familus Horribilus

Kicking at the gates like I'm an urban guerrilla
And going for the victory like the Thrilla in Manila
We're a nation of shoplifters, we're druggies, petty crooks
It seems to be our style, we haven't horsey looks

Queenie's feeling meanie, we've seen her get her cash taxed
Can't hear the jeers, they fear she needs her ears waxed
Chuckie's riding bareback but only playing polo
It's no go with the missus and now he's going solo

Charlie's lost his marlies, he used to be a pillar
Before he got busted and lusted for Camilla
Squidgy getting fidgety at home all alone
And Gilbey, we know he'll be shortly answering the phone

The family, the family, the family horribilus
The family, the family....

The suitors are all looters and they're closing in on Fergie
Their game was fame but now they've got the lurgy
The family's expanding and everyone's a stand-in
A palace full of malice as everyone is crammed in

As Lizzie's getting older, over her shoulder there's a rival
Dizzy Di is busy sowing the seeds of survival
You wanna sow some seeds, well get on your tractor
And get Eddie out of bed or he'll never make an actor

The royals are spreading like boils, it does your head in
We have no choice, we're invoiced for the weddings
It's like a soap, a Dallas or a Dynasty
We live in hope to put them out their misery

Fire the freaky family, we're tired of the cheek
As you holiday your life away our futures look bleak
As your castle's burning down you want the people to pay for it
Ask us to defend you, we've got nothing to say for it

The family, the family, the family horribilus
The family, the family...

Kicking at the gates like we think we're on the guest list
We're told to wait - too late, we're getting restless
The crowd is swelling as they're smelling the thrill
There's dancing in the rubble and there's trouble at the mill

There's warning of the storming, news of the resistance
The peasants are revolting, advancing from the distance
There's panic and there's anarchy and breaking the rules
They're making fake money and they're taking the jewels

All without a fuss, the coup has been victorious
The banners wave, proclaiming annus glorious

Oh ****** my willy is a fanny!
Take a step back I'm turning into a tranny!
I start to panic, I'm getting cock rash
My bellends turning into a ********* gash
Seen the doctor, nothing could be done
I smoked the weed and the changes began

Hormone replacement, that’s what I need, I started to grow tits after smoking too much weed,

And if I ever get caught I make bail
See, I don't give a ******, that's the problem
I see a motherf****n cop I don't dodge him
But I'm smart, lay low, creep a while
And when I see a punk pass, I smile
To me it's kinda funny, the attitude showin a n*gga drivin
but don't know where the ****** he's going, just rollin
lookin for the one they call Eazy
But here's a flash, they never seize me
Ruthless! Never seen like a shadow in the dark
except when I unload, see I'll get over the hesitation
and hear the scream of the one who got the last penetration
Give a little gust of wind and I'm jettin
But leave a memory no one'll be forgettin
So what about the bitch who got shot? ****** her!
You think I give a damn about a bitch? I ain't a sucker!

Here, have a dollar,
in fact no brotherman here, have two
Two dollars means a snack for me,
but it means a big deal to you
Be strong, serve God only,
know that if you do, beautiful heaven awaits
That's the poem I wrote for the first time
I saw a man with no clothes, no money, no plate
Mr.Wendal, that's his name,
no one ever knew his name cause he's a no-one
Never thought twice about spending on a ol' bum,
until I had the chance to really get to know one
Now that I know him, to give him money isn't charity
He gives me some knowledge, I buy him some shoes
And to think blacks spend all that money on big colleges,
still most of y'all come out confused

Go ahead, Mr.Wendal

Mr.Wendal has freedom,
a free that you and I think is dumb
Free to be without the worries of a quick to diss society
for Mr.Wendal's a bum
His only worries are sickness
and an occasional harassment by the police and their chase
Uncivilized we call him,
but I just saw him eat off the food we waste
Civilization, are we really civilized, yes or no ?
Who are we to judge ?
When thousands of innocent men could be brutally enslaved
and killed over a racist grudge
Mr.Wendal has tried to warn us about our ways
but we don't hear him talk
Is it his fault when we've gone too far,
and we got too far, cause on him we walk
Mr.Wendal, a man, a human in flesh,
but not by law
I feed you dignity to stand with pride,
realize that all in all you stand tall

Mr.Wendal, Lord, Mr.Wendal

[Abdominal]
We’re ready to begin so grab your spot on the floor
Because if you didn’t know my name is abdominal and im a sophomore..
Format released lots in store cos we dropped again but this
time with a slight twist…I brought a friend.
“Also hailing from the snowy north shores of canada Format fans I introduce to you the man of year but I would even stretch so far but as to say the decade
watch him go crazy when the record plays so please join me ladies and gentlemen in giving your nicest format welcome to emceeeeeeee d-sisive.”

{oo thank you, thank you, no really your too kind}

[D-sisive]
Since nineteen eight to the o I’ve been taking control
blazing the glow with the blue flame flow
On a chase for the throne with the flow so dope an
smooth you’d think I was a toupay’s owner.
….An I cant stop… til my names known an I got love like Raymond Verone
hip-hop proclaim, illest master of ceremone ever born on canadian soil.
Even if I got a sore throat and a cold sore formed to the corner….
of both lips makin it harder to open my mouth and blurt out these dopest hits
I’ma rock til I don’t exist alongside Abdominal and Format
watching the crowd throw their hands up like four shacks

[Abdominal]
Abdominal flipping the intricate like asian origami, behind me a wake of devastation like a course of tsunami’s and swarming armies couldn’t force me from my chosen path.
A juggernaut with the microphone in his grasp.

[Chorus]
Check {check} the {the} way {way} that {that}
You cant see us like needles in haystacks.
When {when} we {we} rock {rock} mic’s {mics}
Monkey’s know where to focus the spotlight.
On {on} d {d} si {si} sive {sive}
and abdominal then amplifly the hype’ness.
with the beat {beat} by {by} disc {disc} jocks {jocks}
Fomat we’re not just tight we’re zip-locked.

[D-sisive]
Calling all cars, we just got warning d-sisive and abdominal’s on the song…
taking the love in their own palms back to back in a pose similar to Jean-Claude
Super imposed in the poster as both men playing his own twin brother in the blood.
We making room for the lead so follow man, q man, you unamimously called on this
olive tanned jew with this new map borderline albino crew for your musical needs.
Cos if I looped up beats, we breathe effortlessly in and out of snares bass kicks coming tighter than a cher face lift “Do you believe in life after love” I hope so cos
Once you touch the mic you get no love from any zone yo, grab the mic and just drop your ****ing poem.
Ready to blast off and blast y’all with just one stroke,
like Luther Vandross getting handjobs from a tanned blonde with her pants off but her hands on his man sausage in his own song on the sound sub.

[Chorus]

“Y’all cats rap fast, I cant grasp that, all them big words I done thought I miss heard.
Then I rewind y’all words a second time, abs, d-sisive, format sorry boys but your crap.”

[Abs]
Abs will pick up the paddle to kick off this lyrical table tennis spit safely like phlegm in a sink of a dentist.
And I could win a mic fight by using the same line twice, ripping ears like a mic fight…
Versus vincent van go sorry van goch even the bluesberry doughboy b‘he’s too damn soft.
Abdominy ziggy star, y’all cant touch us like a dirty tampon with pants on.
The illest cant comment easy to see, we getting played all the way to the BBC.
Leaving you 3 feet deep like a dead midget, floating in the river like a widget in a guiness….
Pissed cos he couldn’t make the swim team. So just swam his final race…up *****’s creek.
So don’t forget we crazy swift “I’m Andy Burnstein” “an I’m Derek Christe”
Start pissed off we’re kids who spit soft, ripped off contaminated hip-hop with ***** songs….
they're like kriss-kross their careers need pitt stops when we in the mix PAUSE.

How about this whole first verse...........:

Alright stop collaborate and listen
Ice is back with a brand new invention
Something grabs a hold of me tightly
Flowing like a harpoon daily and nightly
Will it ever stop, yo, I don't know
Turn off the lights and I'll glow
To the extreme I rock a mic like a vandal
Light up the stage and wax a chump like a candle
Dance go rush to the speaker that booms
I'm killing your brain like a poisonous mushroom
Deadly when I play a dope melody
Anything less than the best is a felony
Love it or leave it you better gain weight
You better hit bull's eye the kid don't play
If there was a problem, yo, I'll solve it
Check out the hook while my DJ revolves it

Hahahaha. He was on a dutch tv show (Jensen) last night, actually. The only reason why it's in my head.

"That's like a fat kid at a cookout with no plate" - Guru

"Unbalanced like ants and elephants on see-saws" - GZA

and of course my favorite MC ever Vinnie Paz. I think this is one of is best verses.

"You get split in *********g half
The Ikon the Hologram wrath
But I am the center inside the placenta of math
You clash with cyanide gas and die fast
Rythmical equivalent of solids, liquids and gas
We smash your science, with the power of Lord Titus
But I am the virus inside of the iris of Cyrus
Upon papyrus
I kill snipers and body vipers
And strangle you with the organs of rioters who try to fight us
Call me your highness
And sip the blood from the phoenix
Who's guilty like the Jews in the crucifixion of Jesus
Murder the heathens
And perish in a pit of cobras
Word is bond, my rhymes form into a swarm of locusts
Provoke us
And face the Zodiac killers
Five Samurai, do or die, fire spitters
Heavy hitters, from the lands of Sudan
Killadel Shambala Ikon the Hologram"

I'm sorry, but not all rap is stupid. Sure some of todays mainstream hip-hop is, but again, not all.

If you actually find good rap, you realize the work they actually put into it, and how they find songs and flip them completley to make something dope.

The bolden parts are my favourite parts:

Sir Mix-A-Lot
Baby Got Back
Oh my god, Becky, look at her butt
It is so big
She looks like one of those rap guys girlfriends
Who understands those rap guys
They only talk to her because she looks like a total prostitute, ok?
I mean her butt
It's just so big
I can't believe it's so round
It's just out there
I mean, it's gross
Look, she's just so black

I like big butts and I can not lie
You other brothers can't deny
That when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waste
And a round thing in your face
You get sprung
Wanna pull up front
Cuz you notice that butt was stuffed
Deep in the jeans she's wearing
I'm hooked and I can't stop staring
Oh, baby I wanna get with ya
And take your picture
My homeboys tried to warn me
But with that butt you got
Me so horny
Ooh, rub all of that smooth skin
You say you wanna get in my Benz
Well use me, use me cuz you ain't that average groupy

I've seen them dancin'
The hell with romancin'
She sweat, wet, got it goin' like a turbo 'Vette

I'm tired of magazines
saying flat butt's the only thing
Take the average black man and ask him that
She gotta pack much back, so

Fellas (yeah), fellas (yeah)
Has your girlfriend got the butt (hell yeah)
Well shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it, shake that healthy butt
Baby got back

(LA face with Oakland booty)

I like'em round and big
And when I'm throwin' a gig
I just can't help myself
I'm actin like an animal
Now here's my scandal

I wanna get you home
And ugh, double ugh, ugh
I ain't talkin' bout Playboy
Cuz silicone parts were made for toys
I wannem real thick and juicy
So find that juicy double
Mixalot's in trouble
Beggin' for a piece of that bubble
So I'm lookin' at rock videos
Watchin' these bimbos walkin' like hoes
You can have them bimbos
I'll keep my women like Flo Jo
A word to the thick soul sistas
I wanna get with ya
I won't cus or hit ya
But I gotta be straight when I say I wanna ****
Til the break of dawn
Baby, I got it goin on
A lot of pimps won't like this song
Cuz them punks like to hit it and quit it
But I'd rather stay and play
Cuz I'm long and I'm strong
And I'm down to get the friction on

So ladies (yeah), ladies (yeah)
If you wanna role in my Mercedes (yeah)
Then turn around
Stick it out
Even white boys got to shout
Baby got back

(LA face with the Oakland booty)

Yeah baby
When it comes to females
Cosmo and got nothin to do with my selection
36-24-36
Only if she's 5'3"

So your girlfriend rolls a Honda
Playin' workout tapes by Fonda
But Fonda ain't got a motor in the back of her Honda
My anaconda don't want none unless you've got buns hon
You can do side bends or sit-ups, but please don't lose that butt
Some brothers wanna play that hard role
and tell you that the butt need to go
So they toss it and leave it
And I pull up quick to retrieve it
So Cosmo says you're fat
Well I ain't down with that
Cuz your waste is small and your curves are kickin'
And I'm thinkin' bout stickin'
To the beanpole dames in the magazines
You ain't it Miss Thang
Give me a sista I can't resist her
Red beans and rice didn't miss her
Some knucklehead tried to dis
Cuz his girls were on my list
He had game but he chose to hit 'em
And pulled up quick to get with 'em
So ladies if the butt is round
And you wanna triple X throw down
Dial 1-900-mixalot and kick them nasty thoughts
Baby got back

It starts with the letter B, it makes a girl like that think she better than me.

Humpty Hump

Actually its " it makes a girl like that think she badder than me." its the SoCal accent that thros so many off on rap lines.

I'm glad at the title of this thread RAP lines (and not this hip-hop junk lines)

Here is my favorites.

"A Car behind the stage, P is like steppin.
Off from the scene I see lights & sireens,
Whitness everywhere but no1 seen a thing,
When cops asks questions my discription is vague,
No answers at just bodies behind the stage.
A whitness shouts out he was dressed in black,
Stupid-dupi link with a fisherman hat.
When 5.0 ask how he flee from the spot,
In a black sports car, I think it was an I.R.O.C.
But the windows were tinted & we couldnt get a look,
Why? there was smoke from da rubber he cooked!
The Big Payback" - EPMD (Eric & Parish Microphone Doctors originally then Eric & Parish Making Dollars.)

(I was 14 then)

"Brothers are amused by other brothers rep,
but the thing they know best is where the gun is kept,
Cause in the night you feel fright, & an the sight of a forfit I guess you just might! Wanna do a dance or 2, cause he can maybe bus you for self or with a crew. No matter if you or your brother is a star. he can pop you and jet without a gettaway car. And some might say that he's a dummy,
but is sticking you & taking all YOUR money."

"An while we're blaming society, he's at a party with his man they got their eye on the gold chain, that the next man is wearing. It looks big, but they aint staring. Just thinking of a way & when to get the brother, they be long gone before the kid recovers. And back around the way he'll have the chain on his neck, claiming respect, Just To Get a Rep" - Gangstarr

Also ... "pull out my weapon and start to squeeze, a magnum is a microphone murdering MC's" & " - Follow The Leader by Eric B & Rakim

Let The Rhythm Hit'em - Eric B & Rakim (today its STILL the best lyrically written, spoken and hittin tracks in Rap History! very few can match)

" Let the rhythm hit 'em

I'm the arsenal
I got artillery, lyrics of ammo
Rounds of rhythm
Then I'm 'a give 'em piano
Bring a bullet-proof vest
Nothin' to ricochet
ready to aim at the brain
~Now what the trigger say
Tempos triflin'
Felt like a rifle
Massage 'n' melodies
Might go right through
Simultaneously like an Uzi
Nothin' can bruise me
Lyrics let up when lady say don't lose me
So re-load quickly
And you better hit me
While I'm lettin' this fifi get wit me
You steppin' with .007
Better make it snappy
No time to do your hair, baby
Brothers are bustin' at me
Beats and bullets pass me
None on target
They want the R hit
But wtch the god get
Quicker, the tongue is the trigger
'Cause I'm real fast
Let off some rhythm at 'em
Let 'em feel the blast
Penetrate at a crazy rate
This ain't no .38
Hit 'em at point blank range
And watch 'em radiate
Runnin' out of ammunition
I'm done wit' em
You ask me how I did 'em
I let the rhythm hit 'em

I push a power that's punishable
Better be a prisoner
The hit man is the
Brother wit' charisma
Showing you that I have
Powerful paragraphs
Followers will become leaders
But without a path
Ya mentally paralyzed
Crippled ya third eye
Rhymes are blurred
Then it occurred that you heard I
Reduced the friction with crucifixion
Let loose the mix then
Boost the piston
Eric hit 'em with' some of that
Cut like a lumberjack
And me gettin' hit back
It won't be none of that
I'm untouchable
You see me in 3-D
When I let the rhythm hit another M.C.
Lyrics made of lead
Enters your head
Then eruptions of a mass production
Will spread when
Music is louder
Full of gunpower
Microphone machinery
When I see a crowd of
Party people pumpin'
Their fist like this
Ya hide in the back
Thinkin' that I might miss
But the R is accurate
Plus I'm packed up with
Educated punch lines that
I have to hit
Whatever I aim at
I line 'em up
Ya body is weak, feel with pain
That time is up
You been hit with somethin'
Different, isn't it?
Rakim is gonna radiate and nothing's equivalent
Nothin' can harm me
Why try to bar me
You couldn't come around to rob with a army
You'll get wrecked by the architect
So respect 'em
I disconnect 'em, soon as I inject 'em

With radiation
Put 'em by the basement
Bust his chest open
Bash his face in
Let it split 'im
Since he brought his main man wit' 'im
He ask me how I did 'im
I let the rhythm hit 'im
Let it hit 'im

Dance floor's dangerous
Packed in like a briefcase
Rhyth with ral rough rhyme
Beats with deep bass
Girls with tight pants
Maybe they might dance
Tonight if the Rs on the mike
There's a slight chance
The crowd is crucial
M.C.'s grounds are neutral
Now that you're here let me introduce you
Get ready
I'm hard read like graffiti but steady
Science I drop is real heavy
Radiant energy, that'll be the penalty
Touch the third rail on the pain of remedy
The prescription's one every hour
Now it's a havoc
If ya need another hit from the freestyle fanatic
Attention: follow directions real close
Keep out of reach of children
Beware of overdose
Too many milligram
But what made a iller jam
My rhyme is the rhythm of thoughts
That kill a man
I deas for the ear to fear
Might split 'im
He'll never forget 'im
He'll rest in peace wit' 'em
At least when he left he'll know what hit 'im
The last breath of the words of death
Was the rhythm

Now throw you hands in the air and yo, go
Rakim will do the rest of this slow
If I speed they know you'll blow the hell up
If I slow up, catch up, hell no
Wicked as I kecked it
Don't need to remix it
'Cause I prefixed it
Reversed and switched it
To perform to perfection
Section for section
Rhymes keep connectin'
Ya guessin' what's next an'
Blood pressure rise as ya damn near lost it
Ya hit the ground burnin' and woke up frostbitten
'Cause when I explained ya can't complain for pain
Travel through the brain hit a vein
Then remain, let it radiate
Vibes will vibrate
Why did you violate
Now I'm 'a have to let the style brak
Moans now the tone is ingrown
After this here's thrown, gimme another microphone
Before I get that fifi I met
Whisper I wanna reach your intellect
Kiss her 'cause I wanna give her the most respect
So I shine and let the write reflect
Hold 'er, mold 'er, make 'er feel older
Lay her on my shoulder
EEverything I told her
Makes her feel secure whenever I'm wit' 'er
And you know how I did 'er
Me and the rhythm hit 'er "

Just one more sorry.

"Look in the skies for God, what you see besides the
smog
is broken dreams flying away on the wings of the obscene
Thoughts
that people put in the air
Places where you could get murdered over a
glare
But everything is fair
It's a paradox we call reality
So keepin
it real will make you casualty of abnormal normality

just one more ...

"Imagine life at it's full peak
Then imagine lying dead in the arms of your enemy
Imagine peace on this earth when there's no grief
Imagine grief on this earth when there's no peace
Cuz everybody's got a different way of endin' it
And when your number comes for service then they send it in
Now your time has arrived for the final touch
I see the fear in your eyes and hear your final breath"

& next verse

" I hear you breathin' but your heart no longer sounds strong
But you kinda scared of dying so you hold on
And you keep on blacking out cuz the post is near
Stop trying to fight the reaper just relax and let it go
Because there's no way you can fight it but you'll still try
And you can try it til you fight it but you'll still die
Now your spirit leaves your body and your mind clears
The rigormortis starts to set, now you outta here."

I TOP - I A... - InI Lyrics - Fakin Jax Lyrics

f/ Pete Rock

Verse One: Pete Rock

Check it out

As I commence lyrical content now bust the grammar

Niggaz tryin to make flip out like David Banner

Bustin out the garments slammin **** like Onyx

When I'm vex I flex and turn green like the chronic

When I bug out you bound to get snuffed out for frontin

Busy deceivin achievin nothin

If you can't walk the walk, don't talk the talk

It's Pete Rock and InI comin straight from New York

Now all the setups you thought you stepped up to get your rep up

The joke's on you jack (true dat, word)

Cause when I came through the door my mind was thinkin all out war

I'ma settle the score, once and for all

Ain't no time for fakin jax when it's time for makin stacks

I'm droppin bombs like acts in the bible with my recital

So recline like a passenger seat Son, relax

As I take you to the max, homeboy you fakin ji-dax

Chorus

Verse Two: InI

Yeah, check it

You never success or progress

Searchin for peace through material objects

You go to extremes in the process

Acuse others, when it's you showin your true colors

Busy sellin your dreams, but all your cream

Contributes to your lack of self-esteem

So it would seem, cause every day of the week, you act different

You see your peoples, you speak, your eyes shifted

Frontin what Son you love to perform

But when the crowd's gone, word is bond, you get your merc on

Is this the real definition of what a snake is

Y'all should of been politicians, that's where the cake is, but

It didn't work with the fake ass smirk

See the meek shall inherit the earth, for what it's worth, uhh

Turn around yo you backwards, you know what the facts is

You fakin jax kid

Chorus

Verse Three: InI

Your blood

You're worth lead if you can't bring home the cake to get the youths fed

We used to harvest now it's work instead

So, to get ahead to hit the nail on the head, it's hard work

Cause America jerks, takin tax and perks out the check

So father sweats from workin for the next

Just to connect, so man listen

A comfortable position's what I'm after

So all the while, I'm preparin myself to meet the master

Check it, so we suggest you put a F on your chest

A wolf in sheep's clothing's what describes you best

Nevertheless, I roast your ass like chestnuts

I got guts plus cuts from Pete Rock

and it don't stop, the ghetto mass' in your grill

If you lack the will to step up then please chill

On the real, real brothers got each others backs

While all these phony niggaz keep on fakin the jax

It's like that

Chorus

Then transform the illest rhyme droppa
Now who's to say who's not a real hip-hoppa?
Two years ago, I was a real floor moppa.

And just whose lyrics are these? Or is this a blanket generalization? I strongly suspect the latter.

You go ooh and ahh when I jump in my car
People treat me like Kareem Abdul Jabbar
No matter who you are - when I'm up to par
I betcha go hip hop - hurray or hurrah
But the ahhs and ohhs is my kind of news
Pop your tape in - put your car in cruise
I never heard the boos - I never drank booze
Cause I just rock the rhythm - left alone the blues

who? mike jones. lol just kidding, mine would probably be from dance with the devil by immortal technique. you need to hear the whole song to get it, not just one line, so heres another one i love from immortal technique:

I've been around since the planet was inhabitable
I spit in the ocean and created microscopic animals
Which involved into two species, the righteous and the cannibals
But until then, I had alien women suck me off
When God said "Let there be light", I turned it the ***** off
And that's the reason that the earth is only 5 billion years old
I made the sun shine, and permitted time to unfold
The surface was lava, but when I stepped down, it became cold

Wu Tang Clan CREAM second verse of the song

It's been twenty-two long hard years of still strugglin
Survival got me buggin, but I'm alive on arrival
I peep at the shape of the streets
And stay awake to the ways of the world cause **** is deep
A man with a dream with plans to make C.R.E.A.M.
Which failed; I went to jail at the age of 15
A young buck sellin drugs and such who never had much
Trying to get a clutch at what I could not... could not...
The court played me short, now I face incarceration
Pacin -- going up state's my destination
Handcuffed in back of a bus, forty of us
Life as a shorty shouldn't be so ruff
But as the world turns I learned life is hell
Living in the world no different from a cell
Everyday I escape from Jakes givin chase, sellin base
Smokin bones in the staircase
Though I don't know why I chose to smoke sess
I guess that's the time when I'm not depressed
But I'm still depressed, and I ask what's it worth?
Ready to give up so I seek the Old Earth
Who explained working hard may help you maintain
to learn to overcome the heartaches and pain
We got stickup kids, corrupt cops, and crack rocks
and stray shots, all on the block that stays hot
Leave it up to me while I be living proof
To kick the truth to the young black youth
But shorty's running wild smokin sess drinkin beer
And ain't trying to hear what I'm kickin in his ear
Neglected, but now, but yo, it gots to be accepted
That what? That life is hectic

Hangin' with the goodie-goodies loungin' in paradise
******* that s***, I wanna tote guns and shoot dice
All my life I been considered as the worst
Lyin' to my mother, even stealin' out her purse

not rap really but it's worth a mention:

D'Angelo - Brown Sugar

Let me tell you 'bout this girl
Maybe I shouldn't
I met her in Philly and her name was Brown Sugar
See, we be making love constantly
That's why my eyes are a shade blood burgundy

The way that we kiss is unlike any other way
That I be kissin' when I'm kissin' what I'm missin'
Won't you listen

Brown Sugar babe, I gets high off your love
I don't know how to behave

[Chorus]
I want some of your Brown Sugar
Sugar [4 times]
Oohooh

Oh Sugar when you're close to me
You love me right down to my knees
And whenever you let me hit it
Sweet like the honey when it comes to me
Skin is caramel with those cocoa eyes
Even got a big sister by the name of Chocolate Thai

Brown Sugar babe, I gets high off your love
I don't know how to behave

I want some of your Brown Sugar
Sugar [4 times]
Oohooh

Now that'd be how the story goes
Brown Sugar got me open, now I want some more
Always down for a menage troi
But I think I'ma hit it solo
Hope my niggaz don't mind

Stick out my tongue and I'm bout
ready to hit this pretty gritty
bitty with persistence
Yo, I don't think ya'll hear me

Brown Sugar babe I gets high off your love
I don't know how to behave
Sugar [4 times]
Oohooh

is this thread dead or what?
...

the whole song is dope but verse 2 stands out for me
immortal technique "caught in a hustle"

"Immortal Technique in the streets, back on the hustle
cause three strikes will get you life for stuffin cracks in a duffle
Upstate behind steel gates intact in the scuffle
Razor blades stuck on the side of pencils, hacked to your muscle
But the emptiness is what bleeds you to death when it cuts you
And its the lawyers, not the inmates scheming to **** you
Trying to fight the system from inside, eventually corrupts you
But thats what you get when you put a corporation above you
And it's the people that love you that seem to hurt you the most
Sometimes when they die you find yourself cursing their ghost
But you make success, nobody delivers your fate
Sometimes you give and you take
Since prehistoric vertibrates, crawled out of the lakes
And thats the truth about life
Or to do it to ghetto and your car, rims, and your ice
Because even though we survived through the struggle that made us
We still look at ourselves through the eyes of people that hate us
But I'm going to make it regardless of the trumped up charges
And semi-automatic barrages, that empty the cartridge
Post-traumatically scar kids that try to be brave
Because niggaz backstab each other just to try to get paid
Turn cannibal like nights during the crusades
Afraid of responsibility; addicted to greed
Beating their girls purposefully losing a seed
As if we were bound to the destiny we used to recieve"

flash that buttery gold, jittery zeitgeist wither by the watering hole, what a patrol, what are we to heart huckabee art f*ckery suddenly? not enough young in his lung for the waterwings? colorfully vulgar poacher outta mulch like "i'm 'a pull the pulse out a soldier and bolt". fine. sign of the time we elapse when a primate climb up a spine and attach. eye for an eye by the bog's life swamps and vines, they get a rise out of frogs and flies, so when a dog fight's hog-tied prize sorta costs a life, the mouths water on a fork and knife, and the allure isnt right. it's gore on a war torn beach where the cash cow's actually beef. blood turns wine when it leak for police like that's not a riot it's a feast, let's eat.

Yo I'm strictly about skills and dope lyrical coastin
Relying on talent, not marketing and promotion
If a dope lyrical flow is a must
You gots to go with a name you can quickly trust
I'm not sayin I'm number one, uhh I'm sorry, I lied
I'm number one, two, three, four and five

My favorite is ludacris

"You see y'all got it all wrong like women in tuxedos
And comin up shorter than five Danny DeVitos
I'm on a cool ranch, get laid more than Fritos
With five strippers, four wives and three amigos
I go scuba divin in Bays at Montego
I find gold links and snatch 'em like I'm Deebo
But I'm the light-skinteted version of Mandingo
I've seen more Beatles and Jagged Edges than Ringo
I used to run numbers in line they caled me BINGO
Cause I'm big, you a little star, you just twinkle
Old asses like sharpeis, y'all all wrinkled
And I stay with more BULLETS than yo' Billboard singles"

but i think that almost all of Dr. Dre's lines are great

Old school - Run - DMC

From the mountain valley to the deep blue sea
The word is heard as told by D
I don't sing I bring much to light
Like a star shining bright in the darkest night
If you are cold I bring you heat
Like I brought the world my funky beat
Mysterious and serious I ain't no joke
Fire from the depths of hell and you can smell the smoke

About anything from Aceyalone's 'A Book of Human Language' album.....

"The Lion will never ever lie down with the lamb
That's how I was taught when I sought out to tell them who I am
I exam
I look for the bank and swam
Change my program
But they hold me back like water in a dam
But I won't be held
Even though I'm trailed with bread-crumbs
I'll take it to the Max Head-rum
You'll need more than excedrin
Or codeine, or morphine, or nicotine, or caffeine
In your canteen or your bloodstream
I'm a well oiled machine
Keep my area quarantined
From the gardens of Florentine to the shores of Tripoli
Scientifically, ain't no ripping me
I'm terrifically well spoken
Seen many attempts to get a glimpse to see what the hell I'm smokin'
But it ain't no bamma
I've just mastered this bastard grammer
I go outside my parameter
And stretch out my diameter
It gets bigger than gammera
So picture that with yo camera
I got stizamina-stizyle and my stizory as a child ain't much more harsher than yours
I just express mines a little different
Cause
Life ain't fair but who really cares
I know some people that's over here but they wanna be over there
I know some real cool cats
Yeah
But they wanna be bears
And when I see 'em chasing chickens I get heated like a flair
Oh your face looks scared
Your space suit's gotta tear
You're a square and I'm beyond compare and I'm rare
Yeah
And I'm sick of turning apples into pears
Soon as I get a little bit of it I'm gonna share
See I never try to mislead and I walk this planet keyed
Yes indeed I cut I'll bleed I'm sweatin' tears until I'm freed
My sector the two one three
My protector the e-y-e
Just soak it in despite all this anguish
For A Book of Human Language"
