I have the HDD from - non-working 1st gen MacBook Air. It's a 80gb samsung drive, what enclosure can I use to copy data from the drive?

Just get a SATA to USB adapter, that should work :)

I don't know what's funny about this. The PATA (!) ZIF interface of the Rev A MBA is very special, and you are unlikely to find one at your corner computer shop. I have the enclosure that came with a RunCore SSD. Apart from being somewhat fickle to work with, I don't know where one would get a new one today. (If you plan to get one to use the 80 GB drive: Not useful, as that drive is going to die soon anyway. If you need to get the data: Make a deal with someone who has one of these enclosures…)
