i got a friend who has one of those powerbook g3 series and im gonna help him install 10.2 but my question is what do you peeps recommend for a wifi card for this particular model? revision a.

I'd recommend airport, I think it's supported for it. Lemme... one sec..... or anything Linksys. I'm not sure if the Aiport card is supported for PBG3.... http://www.penmachine.com/techie/airport1400.html check that link. that'll give you some idea's. It has 2 wireless cards that it talks about on there. Just google. I never tried wireless in my Wallstreet when I had one, but you can always find something good.

Airport cards will not work in the PCMCIA socket. You need to find a 16-bit compatible PCMCIA wireless card.
