First, I did an iTunes backup of my original iOS 6. Then I did a DFU reset, installed iOS 7 from IPSW, then restored from the backup I had just made. Before the upgrade I had 2GB free. Now I have 18GB free. Sufficed to say, I'm missing a crap load of apps and related app data.

I scrambled on to iTunes with my iPhone 5 plugged in, went to the Apps tab and there is a bunch of apps that are missing. I quickly googled and found that transferring purchases was supposed to prevent this, problem is I completely overlooked it. Is that where I messed up?

Is there any way to get those missing apps back along with their data? i.e. my VSCO camera app had a bunch of photos I'm hoping to get back.

Thanks all!

I forgot to mention that I also did an iCloud backup. I know it backs up apps, but does it save the app data too?
