Big miss

Why the home screen does not go full screen after all apps are closed? It stays tiny, the screen or the button must be touched in order to go back to full screen otherwise stays small, it should go back to full screen automatically :(

It should not be there at all really. Breaks the metaphor.

Weird. Three months and I never thought about it. Now I'm wondering about it, too...

I think it maintains continuity. If I launch something from the folder, I almost expect come back to that folder when I'm done. It's actually kind of likely that I might want something else that was in that folder as opposed to some other app on some other screen.

^^ MisterDisney

it is weird, it seems like it was forgotten, out to lunch, it just does not seem right.

either press the home button or touch the homescreen card.

Doesn't the Auxo Jailbreak tweak work the same way?

I like it as an option to go to the home screen from the multitasking view.

When you closed all the apps on previous iOS versions the app switcher didn't close itself either. Same thing

but it was different, the apps were at the bottom moving around waiting to be closed.

this is to me a big miss

when you cleared all the recent apps in iOS 6 it didnt take you the home screen either. I don't understand what your complaint it. Just touch the final card to return to the desktop or just press home. It's not that difficult.
