no contact photos

Since updating to iOS7, contact photos are not shown for incoming or outgoing calls. Actually, the photo is there, but is is overlayed with a translucent screen, like milk grass, which containes the buttons facetime, mute, speaker and so. It fills the whole display, but you can recognize, that the photo is in fullscreen behind it. i think, its a setting issue, but cant find it...Thanks!
