Hello, now i'm loving my new iPhone 5s, and one of the features in the Messages app with the timestamps when sliding from the right to left. awesome! . but my friend sent me a gif and it wouldn't load... i thought well maybe it won't load on my phone, but then my other friend sent me a regular picture and it opened just fine, so i had the first friend send me the gif again, and that's when the time stamp feature (sliding right to left on the phone) started to glitch, kinda showing then shaking left and right without ever showing on the screen like it should.

anyone else having a problem with .Gif files in iOS 7 or am i missing something?

Just sent a gif on my iPhone 4 and it works like a charm for me. The time stamps pop out like normal. Maybe a reboot would help?

yeah it's really weird why it is doing it. it's only happening with one of my contacts, and it's with ANY pictures that she sends me, gif, jpg, png whatever.

i tried rebooting will probably send a ticket into apple.

I hope Apple has the answers you seek. Good luck! :)
