Had to reinstall a bunch of apps?

This never happened to me. I restored from my icloud backup and for some reason a ton of apps would start up and then turn off on my iphone 5s. This was all easily remedied by deleting them and redownloading the apps but anyone come across similar issues? Weird how it affected some and not others...so far I've had to redownload:

Buzzfeed
Flixster
Rotoworld
MLB At Bat
Capital One Bank
Vevo
Vodio
IMDB

Yeah the list I have above has doubled. I'm going through all my apps. I have a ton that open and then immediately shut down. Deleting and reinstalling is fixing all of them but weird and a pain.
