I took a pretty funny slo-mo video of my wife and tried sending it to her iPhone 5, but it sent the video not in slo-mo.....did i miss something with this feature? Can you not send these videos to others?

I *thought* that happened to me too. I took a slo-mo video today. On my phone within the photos app, it looked as expected - in slow motion. I messaged it to my dad. Within iMessage, when I played it from there, the whole thing played at regular speed. I msg'd my dad asking if it showed up as slo-mo on his end and it did. I guess when you play it within iMessage, it may not play as slo-mo.
