Hi,

Got a 2012, Macbook Air running on Mountain Lion, just wondering if I can keep my download running (UTorrent) whilst the lid is closed, however still with the charging cable attached?

Thanks

utorrent -> preferences -> prevent sleep when transfers are active

or download nosleep

To keep your Mac notebook awake with the lid closed, use InsomniaX (http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/22211/insomniax) or InsomniaT (https://launchpad.net/insomniat) (rebuild for SL) (fix for 2011 MPBs (http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=12150590&postcount=4))

NoSleep (http://code.google.com/p/macosx-nosleep-extension/) also keeps your Mac notebook awake when you close the lid.
