I'm watching a performance they did about a few months back on KUED's Greatest Performances, and I just realized why I started listening to rock. Anyways, just wondering if anyone else saw the Cream Reunion Concert, or is a fan.

I like a few of their tracks. all I can think of now is White Room though. what a bloody good idea for a band though. the best musicians going all together (well, at the time).

My mother used to listen to them. The Tennis song got stuck in my head.

Yeah, I started listening to classic rock after hearing cream. Clapton is pretty amazing. I really started to appreciate them after watching their shows.

Let's hope this user isn't really associated with that horrendous deal.

Yes Cream is good, no Nambla is not.

Haha ok. here's the deal, It's a song from a band called Turbonegro. It's a take on The Stones's Midnight Gambler, I am not associated with the NAMBLA in anyway. It was the song I was listening to when I signed up here. Sorry If I offended anyone!

As the name applies these guys were the "cream of the crop" back then and I still think they are. The DVD set of the reunion at the Royal Albert Hall on May 2,3,5,6 of this year had me remembering when I saw them in the late 60's in LA. On the DVD Eric talks about maybe bringing it to "The States" and after watching I went on line to check it out and sure enough 1 show at the Garden in NY. IF you can find tickets via scalpers they're going for up to $4,000 USD. That just sucks, BIG TIME

I'll just crank up the tunes at the house and have fond memories:rolleyes:

Love 'em.

I think "Wheels of Fire" is their best album, but "Disraeli Gears" is a bit easier to digest.

I'm a big Clapton fan, never got much into Cream though. I really like Eric's recent blues work, and less so his older things so maybe I wouldn't like Cream that much. I like The Rutles though :p

Clapton's best work was arguably done with Cream, easy. I think his best guitar moment is on "Live at the Fillmore" with Derek and the Dominos. Once you check it out and understand the amazing guitar work he did then, his new stuff just won't have the same impact. It's all excellent, mind you, but man that stuff was AWESOME!!

I actually love Badge by Cream. One of the best songs, musically and lyrically, from the 60's.
