Western Digital WD740GD 74GD "Raptor" 10,000RPM SATA/150 8MB Cache - OEM

looking to put this in my Dual 1.8 Powermac-

Anyone have any advice on this drive ? issues and performance. i will be using this with FCP

never used one in a mac before, but i had one for the OS and Program Files on my PC, and it was awesome. really great drive. had about 3 hard drives fail on me on my PC whilst this one stayed alive. lifetime guarantee as well i think...

have one in my dual-core 2.0. LOVE IT! it's not very noisy and it runs GREAT. very fast and very smooth. i would highly recommend it.
