I've been ripping my Blu-Ray discs (MakeMKV/Handbrake) and have noticed that the mp4 file sizes vary quite a lot and do not necessarily correlate with the length of the movie. I have 2 movies for example that are both 1:45 but one has a file size of about 6.5 GB and the other is 9+ GB. Why would that be? What factors contribute to the file size.

Thanks.
