OS X Mavericks: iOS7-like logo but app refinements?

It makes perfect sense. How much change do you think is humanly possible in 10 months?

I doubt they'd make a dramatic graphical change in just one update.

since Lion apple has done noticeable changes to the ui. Lion having an aqua change, ml getting a new dock, Mavericks ditching half of its fake look and linen.

I rather prefer it this way than all at once, especially since every year we lose the ability to customize something, this year being the 2d dock and auto hide time via terminal.

also the icons are pretty ugly right now don't want it till they make it more flat and less colorful. the windows vista theme i actually like on the desktop and ive seen some mockups, it looks better on the big screen

I could see there being some minor UI changes implemented in the GM of OS Mavericks, but nothing crazy in just one update. Just my opinion though.

Actually I think ti would look much cooler if you put the "I" in the middle of the X.

Sure, it'd look a bit like an asterisk, but perhaps that's what would make it super cool?!!

Could you entertain us and try your design with the "I" in the middle of the X?

I thought they said they used Mavericks so they could have a naming structure for OS X "for the next ten years".
